EXCITING THINGS COMMING IN 2023!

Exciting babies will be lambs, kids, ducks and geese. While we can not gaurentee kids will be onsite when these animals hatch or are born, it has happened. Students are allowed to observe from a safe distance giving the new moms privacy. Once newborns are up and about and its safe for them to interact with students , students are able to interact with the new babies in our learning pens.

We follow a general curriculum each week surrounded by daily science activities. Students are also encouraged to question everything and often lessons will follow a group of students interests. An example of this could be finding a spider web on our nature walk that leads us into lessons on arachnids, or a group being particularly interested in how horses see. As such our science is not limited to the curriculum of science we list here.

Animal Science activities all summer and Fall! Learn what its like to live on a traditional family farm. Daily animal interaction with a specific science focus each day.

While we do follow a general farm science based theme no 2 weeks of camp are ever exactly the same. We have students that do attend multiple weeks of camp and they often find they have learned someting new and done something different each time.

  • Shear sheep and make a felted project
  • Learn how archeologists identify bones
  • Go on an archeology dig
  • Identify Alaskan Minerals
  • Take a horse ride
  • Learn about digestive systems and bones structures
  • Watch animals be born
  • See geese hatch
  • Learn about poultry

  • We will have weekly summer camp sessions all summer starting June 3rd and ending just before school starts.

Refunds only apply in extreme circumstances and if another student is able to attend the reservation you wish to cancel. We are unable to refund processing fees. This is about $35 per registration.

Privately reserved summer camp weeks must have 12 students or the parents of the group must be willing to pay the price for 12 students split evenly among those attending. If you have registered a private week and any parent does not pay for thier student we will give the group of parents the opportunity to pay for that students spot first. If the spot remains unpaid the spot will be posted as open to the general public. Your balance for your privately scheduled week must be paid in full within 1 week of the request. At such time empty spots will be posted online for the public to register. A privately scheduled week guarentees your 12 spots at camp when paymnet is received promptly.

All Children must be preschool/Kindergarten ready and able to work independantly from parents. We are not a moms and me class. If you would like a moms and me program we can recommmend several other types of programs that would better suit your needs.
